Question #250
Who are you? Are you hiding?
I’m a song leader and I happened on your site when I was looking for songs I couldn’t find in Songs of Faith and Praise.
I enjoyed your thought provoking and informative website, and I hope to use some of your materials for my Sunday morning class. However, I was disappointed not to find your name or your home congregation anywhere on the website. I’m sure it is omitted for a reason, but I was wondering what the reason would be.
Given your positions on some quite controversial issues, I would think you’d want your name all over this website to avoid being accused of hiding.
Thanks.
The Answer:
Please look at the frequently asked questions section (“FAQ”) and you will see that we are identified and a means for contacting us is given. More than that is not necessary to the operation of the website. Moreover, the website is not maintained to bring glory or praise to those who maintain it, but to bring glory and praise to the God whose word is truth.
And as for hiding, our email address appears at the bottom of each page on this website, and you do not seem to have had any difficulty in reaching us.
