Where does it say “God will never give you more than you can handle”?
The Answer:
The passage to which you refer is 1 Corinthians 10:13. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” Note that the verse does not put all of the responsibility on God. He will enable you by providing a way of escape. If you reject the way of escape and proceed to succumb to the temptation the fault is yours, not God’s.
