Question #71
What are the acts of worship?
I co-teach a class of 4th through 6th graders. We are studying various aspects of the Church. I don’t want to teach an untruth. Please send me the “Acts of Worship” so that it will be correct. Thank you.
The Answer:
It is assumed that you are referring to the worship of the church assembled. To fully discuss what is commonly referred to as “the five acts of worship” would require a lengthy answer. Rather than make that response here, you are directed to Lesson Seven in the series of lessons on the church. It deals with “The Assembly and Worship of the Church.” You will find a full discussion of the public acts of worship in the church assembled.
